Experience
I am a tutor who has always loved to teach and help others. I tutor students in algebra, geometry, elementary math, writing, literature, religious studies, English, social science, social studies, law, poetry, and many other subjects. I can help students prepare for the ACT, enhance their public speaking skills, and even learn guitar. Since I was a child I've enjoyed helping people. I received two degrees, one from West Virginia University and the other from Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, and I've had numerous jobs in a diverse array of fields. I've been a public school teacher, but I really enjoy teaching students one on one because I am able to cater my teaching to their learning style and better help them achieve success. Regardless of what a student needs or struggles with, I'm here to help. I believe that everyone has the right to learn and succeed, and I work with my students as a teammate and help them accomplish this. I know that my students can and will achieve their goals. When I'm not sharing my knowledge with students I enjoy writing, reading books, watching interesting movies, studying and reading up on politics, and philosophy.
